Pats Audio Dual Turntable AC Power Safety Capacitor

Replacement AC  power safety capacitor used to suppress the voltage spike when the turntable is powered on.  Compatible with many Dual turntable models.  Specs are .068 uf  275 VAC X2 type.   (Color of capacitor may vary from listing photographs.)

The original suppression safety capacitor on many vintage Dual models has failed as evidenced by the case splitting open and of course the loud pop heard through the audio system speakers when the turntable is powered on and off.

Replacement is straight forward with basic soldering skills required.  As a non-polarized capacitor there is no particular orientation when installing.
